So, I called Riley Insurance for a quote. My house is structurally sound, secure with a high end security system, new roof, and it is well maintained structurally speaking, but was denied based on my back deck not being painted and my yard not looking as nice as my neighbors down the road. I am somewhat confused why they are acting like more of a H.O.A. than an insurance company. I don't understand the risk factor of the side of my house not having flowers, but the fact that my house is safe, up to date all around, and they still wouldn't insure me has me mind boggled. I couldn't even get an answer to what i needed to do to fix what was needed to obtain it from their company....sounds like some discrimination to me. "The outside around the house just needs some TLC" was the response.
I am very very pleased to be signed on with Erie and would highly recommend Riley Insurance Agency.
I can honestly say I never had better service from an insurance agency. Joel and his team are ALWAYS prompt and courteous.
